TUTORIAL PUNTO COCCODRILLO

Eccoci finalmente di nuovo qua, armate di uncinetto e agguerrite più che mai!



La lezione a crochet di oggi è dedicata al famosissimo punto coccodrillo (crocodile stitch). 

Ogni volta ci stupiamo nel vedere che vi spaventate letteralmente di fronte allo schema di questo punto, quando in realtà è estremamente intuitivo e, una volta capito il meccanismo, assolutamente automatico da eseguire.
Esatto, come dirlo meglio? Noi siamo qui per insegnarvi il meccanismo ^_^

Il punto coccodrillo all'uncinetto è un punto che "mangia" tanto filo e cresce poco; rimane spesso, con il motivo delle scaglie leggermente svolazzante.

COME ESEGUIRE IL PUNTO COCCODRILLO

Innanzitutto, questo è lo schema:

Traduzione punti inglese / italiano
Chain (ch) = catenella
Slip stitch (sl st) = maglia bassissima
Double crochet (dc) = maglia alta

I giri segnati in nero, sono i giri dispari (retro del lavoro), mentre i giri in azzurro, sono i giri pari in rilievo sul davanti (scaglie punto coccodrillo) 




AVVIO DEL LAVORO / START WORK:
Avviate 28 catenelle di base e iniziate il primo giro puntando l'uncinetto a partire dalla 3^ catenella dall'uncinetto.
Start work with 28 chains and then insert the hook in the 3^ chain from the hook to work the round 1.

1^ GIRO / ROUND 1
*2 maglie alte nella 3^ catenella dall'uncinetto; fate 2 catenelle, saltare 2 maglie di base, 2 maglie alte nello stesso punto di base (V)* proseguite fino alla fine del giro
*2 double crochet in the 3^ chain from the hook, 2 chain, skip 2 sts, 2 dc in the same st (V)* repeat from * to * until the end of round.

  
Terminate con 1 catenella e girare il lavoro.
Finish the round 1 with a chain and turn.

2^ GIRO / ROUND 2
Puntate l'uncinetto da destra verso sinistra come in foto in mezzo alle prime 2 maglie alte (V) del giro precedente ed eseguite 5 maglie alte, che rimarranno in rilievo
Insert hook from the right to the left in the first 2 db (V) of the round 1 and make 5 dc

Fate la stessa cosa dall'altra parte: puntate l'uncinetto da sinistra verso destra come in foto in mezzo alla stessa V (seconda metà) ed eseguite 5 maglie alte
Make the same thing in the other V side: insert hook from the left to the right in the same V and work 5 dc

Eseguite una maglia bassissima (o maglia bassa) al centro della V successiva, per bloccare le maglie lavorate ce risultano svolazzanti
Make 1 sl st in the next V to  fix the previous sts

Ripetere il meccanismo: 
1) nella V seguente lavorare la scaglia del motivo a coccodrillo (5 maglie alte in un verso, 5 maglie alte nell'altro verso)
2) nella V successiva lavorare una m.bassissima
Continuate fino alla fine del giro, fate 3 catenelle e girate
Repeat the process:
1) in the next V works the crocodile stitch ( 5 dc in a direction, 5 dc in the opposite direction)
2) in the following V work 1 sl st 
Continue until the end of row, then make 3 ch and turn.

3^ GIRO (e tutti i giri dispari) / ROUND 3 (and all odd rounds)
Lavorate come nel 1^ giro: 
*2 maglie alte insieme nella V sottostante; fate 2 catenelle, 2 maglie alte V seguente* proseguite fino alla fine del giro
Work like round 1:
*2 double crochet in the V below, 2 chain, 2 dc in the next V below* repeat from * to * until the end of round.

4^ GIRO (e tutti i giri pari) / ROUND 4 (and all equal rounds)
Lavorate nelle V che si presentano alternando le scaglie coccodrillo (5 maglie alte lavorate prima da sinistra poi da destra) e la maglia bassissima per bloccarle.
Per ottenere le scaglie alternate, puntate l'uncinetto nella seconda V anziché nella prima, a giri alternati
Works in all V below by alternating the crocodile stitch (5 dc from right + 5 dc from left) and the sl st. To get the alternating motif of crocodile stitch, insert hook in the second V than the first  in alternating rows.

Ecco come si presenta il lavoro finito:
- giri pari = motivo a coccodrillo
- giri dispari = rete per lavorare il motivo
The finished work looks like this:
- equal rows = crocodile stitch motif
- odd rows = grid to work the crocodile stitch

Per iniziare ad imparare, potete creare due rettangoli con queste catenelle di base utilizzando l'uncinetto 2.5 - 3.00 mm. Abbiamo creato una bellissima cover porta cellulare a punto coccodrillo che risulta super imbottita!
